POSITION SUMMARY

The BIM Architect will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation and execution of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across architectural projects. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing high-quality BIM models, ensuring seamless collaboration across disciplines, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and proactive coordination with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.

key RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, manage, and maintain accurate BIM models across all design and construction phases.
  • Lead coordination with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines to detect and resolve clashes.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor BIM Execution Plans (BEP) ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • Produce construction drawings, detailed documentation, schedules, and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models.
  • Conduct regular model audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews.
  • Drive automation and scripting initiatives (e.g., Dynamo) to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders on all BIM-related matters.
  • Support the development of BIM standards, templates, libraries, and workflows.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 3-6 years of BIM experience in the Architecture discipline for BIM Architect; 5+ years preferred for BIM Architect.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk Navisworks, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Sound understanding of LOD standards, clash detection, and interdisciplinary coordination workflows.
  • Experience in construction documentation, model-based quantity extraction, and issue tracking systems.
  • Working knowledge of Dynamo or similar automation tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
